Jesus Cares Ministries

This extraordinary worship series is designed for those with intellectual or developmental disabilities and the families, friends or caregivers. The service takes place in the sanctuary with music, prayers and a Biblical message. All are welcome!

Meets Tuesdays from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Bible Study

After his resurrection, Jesus provided his followers with instructions on living according to God’s will. He gave his loving commands to Peter, who had denied him three times, by offering him three opportunities to reaffirm his faith in Christ. He commanded Peter to: “Feed my lambs...Feed my Sheep!” (John 21: 15-17)

We believe this means regularly reading the Word of God through study with others, and we have numerous opportunities to gain deeper knowledge of the Bible including:

  • Sunday School
  • Catechism Class
  • Adult Bible Study
  • Christian Education
  • Bible Information Class

Sunday School

We love children, just as Jesus did! We offer Sunday School as a way for parents to raise their children in the Word and learn of Christ’s love.

The classes are age appropriate and take place between the Sunday morning worship services from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

The classes are divided by:

  • 3 and 4-year-olds
  • Kindergarten
  • 1st and 2nd Grades
  • 3rd and 4th Grades
  • 5th and 6th Grades
  • 7th and 8th Grades

Catechism Class

Catechism is an opportunity for children of Trinity Lutheran in grades 6 through 8 to deepen their knowledge and faith by studying Luther’s Small Catechism.

The Small Catechism is a primer in faith, hope and love, and a requirement for youth to become communicant members of the congregation.

The first two years of instruction take place on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and Bible Study on Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Third-year students meet on Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Confirmations occur on the first Sunday in May.

Adult Bible Class

Adult Bible Class offers members of Trinity the chance to delve deeper into the Word of God. The Pastors conduct the class andtopics surround Books in the Bible or other current topics of interest. This class meets between Sunday services from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

We also offer Women’s Bible Study and Men’s Bible Study through the week. Check the calendar or contact the church office for times, details and contact information.
